Pair of 1950s Gino Sarfatti Tricolore table lamps for Arteluce. A striking yet minimalistic pair of table lamps designed by Gino Sarfatti, circa 1952. This extremely rare and iconic design is executed in lightly patinated brass and painted metal with original color in very good vintage condition. The individual saucer shades rotate independently for a variety of lighting configurations of a uniquely sculptural quality. Arteluce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era, with Sarfatti their superstar. His designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know.
