Pair of Brass Floor Lamps, 1970s
A rare find, this pair of floor lamps project their warm light gently through a space, standing at a stately 182 cms tall. Light from halogen bulbs is filtered through the celestial motif surface like sunlight through yellow-brown foliage, lending the pieces an eclectic, highly decorative air. Brass makes up the rectangular structure of each lamp. The pair was designed in the style of iconic French design firm Maison Jansen’s work in the mid-century: chic, ornamental and fully functional. The pair is found in very good vintage condition.
