Pair of Rustic Copper GE Street Lamps with Large Milk Glass Globes

Sorry, this product is no longer available, please visit incollect for related products.

This is an early pair of General Electric Luminous Arc Lamps. It has a 15 inch diameter and stands 31 inches tall. I believe these were the type of street lamps used in NYC at the turn of the century. They have been rewired to now take a standard base bulb. The pair are both different and the same. The finishes have a matching rustic quality. Also the large heavy milk glass globes, cast iron crown and iron flared base are the same. Even the stamped makers logo is the same. The main difference is the central copper detail. I really like that there is a bit of a difference. Its an eclectic pairing that has more interest. Offered by Early Electrics LLC
