Paolo Buffa 1940s Minimalist Dark & Light Wood Cabinet / Sideboard on Brass Legs
1940s four-door cabinet attributed to Paolo Buffa, originally customized, floating on three brass legs, the ones on the sides lifting the design, a refined piece in two-tone palisander, the front decorated with a lighter burl veneered square pattern framed in a darker tone. The quality of the execution is combined with inventiveness and the refined elegance of Italian design.
Paolo Buffa designed for illustrious clients, including the Royal Palace of King of Albania (1940), the Royal Yacht Mahroussa of King Farouk of Egypt (1951-52) and some interiors of the cruise liner Leonardo Da Vinci (1950s). Offered by Cosulich Interiors & Antiques
