R.M. Schindler Child's Chair
This collection comprises authorized reproductions of furniture designed by groundbreaking modernist architect R.M. Schindler. Designed in 1922 for his private residence on Kings Road in Los Angeles, each piece is physically and philosophically at one with its spatial environment. The raw materials of the Kings Road house and its relationship with the surrounding landscape served as the
perfect platform for a new concept of living, influenced by the mild Southern California climate. The handcrafted redwood furniture reflects this relaxed attitude with an elegant simplicity that belies its formal sophistication. All designs are licensed to Marmol Radziner Furniture through Friends of the Schindler House and the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles.
