Wonderful example of the 1952 Modular System by Herman Miller. These case pieces are meant to sit on the platform bench (also called a slat bench). The cabinet has the original finish with a red lacquered drop down desk. Inside the cabinet contains a pigeonhole shelf and light. Elegant M shaped pulls on the bottom two drawers.
