Stephen Remick, “Autumn Air”, Large Contemporary Abstract Painting
Titled “Autumn Air”. This is part of a series of abstract color-field paintings done in the early 2000’s. Inspiration was drawn from the abstract expressionists of the mid 1900’s. This is professional grade acrylic on canvas and measures a square 60" high by 60" wide. The edges are painted so it can be hung without a frame. It’s wired and ready to hang. Please look at the images carefully. This is painted very loosely with quick brushstrokes and intentional “irregularities” and drips inherent with painting. Please note: To bridge the gap between local and national delivery, I most likely would be able to extend the distance for free local delivery or add a nominal delivery fee if your location isn’t too far from my studio. About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. (Steve and Anne’s daughter, Tess Remick, is on Chairish too.) Steve’s paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad.
