This elegant and refined vintage Italian floor lamp, designed by the famed lighting design firm Stilnovo, embodies the essence of modern lighting design. The slender black supports are set at an angle to each other and the legs are the same scale but set at a sharper angle to provide stability. Notice the use of gilded brass against the black finish and how the contrast gives visual interest. Atop each of the three arms is set an opaline glass shade (one repaired) with an ovoid shape whose organic nature is a perfect foil for the geometric simplicity of the lamp stand.
