Tan Wool Sculptural Lounge Chair and Ottoman Attributed to Charles Stendig
Often mistaken for Milo Baughman, this Italian 1960s lounge chair is rare, but even more rare to be accompanied with a matching ottoman. This inimitable Italian design is comprised of comfy, plush cushions that seem to float on top of the sculptural cradles of the rounded chrome base. The wool upholstery is a medley of woven earth tones, creating a dynamic and soft color that would fit beautifully in any number of environments.
The epitome of cool, this lounge and ottoman combo can be utilized in a plethora of ways to add to a rooms decor or stand out from the rest. It can go with Mid-Century Modern or 1960s-1970s pop decor or mixed in with contemporary for a bit of flair. This chair is generally found in a leather, we much prefer this example as it provides much better softness and warmth in material and color than the leather examples you might find.
The wool upholstery is far too cool and unique for us to reupholster and is in excellent condition, contact us if you would like a full condition report or for a reupholstery quote. Offered by Automaton
