"United Nations" Wall Sconce by Carlo Mang
The “United Nations” wall sconce was designed by architect Carlo Mang for the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York City. The simple design not only blends into modern architecture, but also facilitates easy maintenance and cleaning. Geometric hand-cut crystals are attached to thin nickel-plated brass frame making use of the traditional wiring-technique handed down from the earliest crystal chandelier makers of the 16th century. This way the removable crystal elements can even take cleaning in a household dishwasher. Also available in a coordinating ceiling fixture. 4 x E14 lights with a max wattage of 240W. Available in various metal finishes. Please inquire about the options.
