An old, finely executed Navajo wool rug measuring 3 feet 9 inches by 8 feet 11 inches woven in the 1950’s in Teec Nos Pos on the Navajo Reservation, an area in the extreme northeast corner of Arizona. Unique and intricately detailed rugs come from this weaving area that are more playfully colored than many rug weaving areas of the Reservation. A finely woven rug that allows for a sharp, crisply articulated design. The colors remain vivid and the condition excellent, suggesting that previous owners had a high regard and respect for this weaving
